The Ghost 400 CRT is a single of the lightest bows Barnett has ever produced, weighing just over 7.5 pounds thanks to Carbon Riser Technologies (CRT), which removes front-end weight and areas the center of gravity at the end of the stock, though also boasting a five-to-one safety element. Consequently, the bow shoulders with greater comfort and is less complicated to carry. Power has undoubtedly not been sacrificed, having said that, as the bow fires at an impressive 400-feet-per-second thanks in part to AVI technologies molded over laminated limbs, minimizing noise and vibration up to 30%. Crosswire strings, Whiplash cams, and Anti-Dry Fire metal injection molding trigger provide smooth, quiet, precise shots in a compact fit. The bow, which is created in the USA, comes complete with four custom Gamecrusher arrows and
crossbow sling.

Buyer Evaluations
I would have to 2nd two of the items Stid Hillbilly was disappointed by concerning this bow(emblems falling off, the extra care needed on the center bolt(to some point unavoidable by design)). My stock sections appear fine. He is well to be concerned about the arrow string. I had mine seperate right after 30-35 shots(Barnett bolts, strings waxed before each use). It appeared to pull the loops out of both ends way more so than break. I am not all that supprised due to the incredible power released when you pull the trigger. I contacted Barnett and they readily agreed to send me another string and did not deny or confirm that this was a dilemma. I paid for an added string as well. (hopefully it will not honestly take 4-6 days to leave the factory as stated when I ordered). Be carefull when 1st sighting in as the best line(20 yard line?) on my scope ended up becoming about 45 yards. Third line down almost went off the target block high at 70 yards(windage was off perfect 2-3 inches and each shot was dead on windage when dialed in). Took three complete turns down(150 clicks) to get the fourth line to 50 yards in a three" group. It sticks the bolts to the feathers at 30 yards and I am awaiting my new string to try it on a new Morell 400fps 32lb block. One incredible killing machine, how it holds up is yet to be confirmed. Personally, I would be happy to replace the draw string each season as lengthy as the accuracy holds up. Of course, no one will be impressed if it can not even make an typical season(30-40 shots for me).
Further assessment after string replacement: I no longer think that the string breaking was a problem with the bow. I am convinced that I mis-nocked the arrow. I have paid close focus to my cocking system and the string and bolt position when cocked. I identified that I do not pull up on the cocking rope causing it to favor high as originally described, but in reality the opposite, pulling down causing it to land specifically in the necked down portion of the release pins as developed. After 40 far more shots, I have had no further problem with the string and actually can not see any other explantion other than a mis-nocked bolt. I recieved punctual input from Barnett each and every time I asked for it.
On third shot out of box string blew apart bow sounded like it exploded bolt went two feet. The arrow nock was broke on arrow that was shot from bow. Called Barnett customer service and had to leave message. Following a week with no reply I returned bow to seller for refund. This bow is going to hurt an individual in my opinion.I believe this crossbow was rushed to production and Barnett requirements to remove from market place until they get string and arrow complications solved. I've heard that Barnett has very good client service but that was not my knowledge. If thinking of obtaining this bow go on net and Google Ghost 400 bow issues and you will see from other individuals that string put on and bolts are a important dilemma.
